In a world filled with cynicism, skepticism, and negativity, one must make a conscious choice to focus on the good, affirmative, and positive. Without making this choice, it is easy to allow the negativity to drown out all that is good. Tony Child has made it his personal mission to drown out the negative noise with a voice of positivity. Tony’s life changed in 2012 while sitting in a “Power of Positivity” presentation at work. His mind was opened to the possibility of a different future, a more positive future, and started him on a journey of studying this message and sharing it around the world.

Tony graduated summa cum laude from Utah Valley University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. During his time at Utah Valley University, Tony created the curriculum for the first ever “power of positivity” course which was taught at the university in the fall of 2015.

Tony has worked in the banking industry for over 15 years as a regional sales manager. In his role as a sales manager, Tony created and facilitated training for over 20 offices and more than 100 employees. His courses consist of leadership development, sales mindset, persistence, and being “Better than Average”.

Over the past two years, Tony has become a certified leadership coach for the John Maxwell Team, a Thinking Into Results certified facilitator for the Proctor Gallagher Institute, and a certified DISC trainer for Personality Insights Inc. Tony’s priorities in life are his faith and his family and he takes any opportunity he can to be with his wife and two boys. He loves life and chooses every day to be happy and remain positive.
